Pasta CFW 1.3 (beta4) updated ! can be support firmware cheat, and play new games, backup NAND

Pasta CFW has been updated 1.3(beta 4) by comparing Pasta CFW 1.2 ,it now has been changed the GUI and now can support firmware cheat ,Backup NAND functions.

Here is the guide i tested on my Nintendo 3DS.

Requirement

1. Extract the downloaded PASTA CFW V1.3(beta4), and open the folder "Pasta", you will see 2 folder: one for 3ds(folder "3ds") one for your PC system to use(folder"PastaCFW configurator")

2.Extract the downloaded FBI zip file and copy the FOLDER FBI into downloaded PASTA CFW V1.3 FOLDER 3ds, you will get 2 folders named Pasta CFW and FBI.

3.Insert your console micro sd/TF card into a USB Card Reader and connect this USB Card Reader to your PC. Copy all the files to the root of your console micro sd card.

4.Open the folder "PastaCFW configurator", according to your PC system select one from the below 3 folders to run:

(We tested with PC windows system, so we opened the folder "Windowns" and click to run the file "PastaCFW Configurator.exe")

5. Run PastaCFW Configurator file and select your N/O3DS SD card in the blank of “Disk” , select your 3DS model(Old 3DS or New 3DS),click download;
When the download completed, click yes  and then close this firmware.Insert the SD card to your 3DS.

6. Go to http://smealum.net/ninjhax and get the QR code compatible wit your N/O3DS firmware version;
Start your 3DS with wifi being turned on, run  Cubic Ninja in sky3ds→EDIT→QR Code →QR Code の読取, and then scan the QR Code. When done, you will go to the homebrew launcher.

7.Select  Pasta CFW loader and press A, run again Cubic Ninja→EDIT→QR Code →QR Code の読取 which goes to homebrew launcher
Press L+A to run Pasta CFW loader, Select the “backup sysNANA” which can make a backup of the NAND of your 3DS;
Select “options” -Enable FirmLaunch(Remain NO)-A(save)

 

8.Go to the the setting menu, in the most left side, find the "Give me some pasta", select it in order back to the homebrew interface, select the "FBI", press button A to continue:

9. Select the CIA File "BigBlueMenu.cia" to install. after the installation completed, press button "START" to exit:

 

Notice :

if the BigBlueMenu.cia or Devmenu.cia installation failed, pls remember back to home menu and pull out console micro sd card and to go the the root of console Micro SD card to make an empty folder named by "dbs" and make a file named by "title.db" in your "Nintendo 3DS/id1/id2/dbs" folder. and retry the previous steps to instal BigBlueMenu.cia or Devmenu.cia)

10. There will be a gift box showing and install the cia file of game you want to play. When the installation finished, you can enjoy cia games Now !
