Merry Christmas Day to all the friends , and today we will bring you a guide for how to make sky3ds blue button save file used on sky3ds+?

Question:

Since the sky3ds+ is come out , the main question is the old blue sky3ds save file can be transferred to the sky3ds+ then ?  so can use diskwriter to backup the sav file, then use on sky3ds+as .sav format ?

Answer : 
Yes ,you can use the Latest Diskwriter DiskWriterV203b4 ( Click it to download ) ) to back up the sav files ,then copy it into the micro sd card of the Sky3ds+ ( assure the name of sav. files is the same as the game rom name)

Tutorial :

Before this ,you need have the sky3ds (blue) and the sky3ds+ ( orange button )

 1. First let is look at the sky3ds ( bule ) insert to 3ds Console and the game interface.

 

2. Connect the sky3ds (blue card ) with the computer and open the diskwriter V203b4 .

3. Choose the game you want to backup and select backup Save2 .

5. Copy the exist save. files into the micro sd card of the sky3ds+ ,then insert the sky3ds+ into the 3ds console , then you will see the games .Enjoy !

How to use sky3ds+ to play 4gb rom issue ?

Sky3ds+ has been released for about a week , but  I read the details. fast32 support max 4gb file. Is that 4gb rom file is like 4gb++. so no way to transfer to the fat32 micro sd currently ??

The answer is :  You need a 3rd party tools to trim the rom(larger than 4GB) at the moment !

So how to make is happen ?  See below the guide .

1.  Download a 3rd party tools from here

2. open the 3DSExplorer.exe files and insert the 3ds game rom to unzip .
3.Then click : CCI , you will see the 3ds game rom has become less than 4gb .

Notice : as sky3ds+ micro tf card formated 32 FAT ,So the almost volume is 4 gb ,so this is why we need to transffer the games rom to a smaller .

How to use sky3ds + to play the 3ds games ?

1.Format your microSD card to FAT32 in Windows,and copy the 3ds game roms into the root of micro sd card , no diskwriter tool required any more.

2.Download the newest gamelist.bin(like a template file used by the old sky3DS card, will keep it updated constantly for new games later) from sky3DS.com,copy it into the root of your microSD card.

 

3. Insert the micro sd card into sky3ds +, then use the data usb to connect  to your computer. Then you will  see the red light flashes sky3ds + 10 seconds, then the green light flashes ten seconds, then turn off. (This process is to install the kernel) when the green light is off, then you can open the removable disk. and then delete the firmware.bin because the kernel has been installed .

 

4. Then move the sky3ds + from the computer and insent the 3ds console ,then you can the 3ds game icon on the meau ,then you can  enjoy the 3ds games .

5.If you want to check what is the files exist when you during playing the 3ds games ,you can take out the sky3ds + and connect it to the computer again , Opens the removable disk, you will see  more setting.txt  and file names correspond game .sav file. Double-click the file to open setting.txt will find two strings of code, the first row represents the kernel version, the second row is turned .cfg file (.Open the settings.txt, set the CREATE_PER_GAME_SETTINGS = 1(default 0, can change it anytime later) and save it, a .CFG file will be created in your microSD card after a game has been played, it includes the specific info for that game(CART_ID,FLASH_ID...), you can build you own .CFG file for playing a new game(or an online game) later if you know how to get those info properly, which means you don't have to wait for the updated gamelist.bin file by our site, the .CFG file has a higher priority than a gamelist.bin file.)

About The Firmware Upgard ?

sky3DS+ will come with the newest firmwareV4(FIRMWARE_VERSION=4 in the settings.txt, you don't need to do any update at the moment), we will keep it updated on our site if needed.

1.Download the updated firmware.bin from sky3DS.com, and copy it into the root directory of your microSD card.

2.Insert your microSD card into sky3DS+, connect your PC and sky3DS+ with a USB cable(come with, which can also work as a USB Adapter once connection built).

3.The LED red light will turn on for 10 seconds, then turn to the green light and keep flashing for 10 seconds, once the light turn off it means the sky3DS+ has been updated successfully.

7. The first icon is to paly nds games ( you can press A to play the nds games you had already copied)

 

8. The second is GW simulation icon ( After step 10 ,we will see how to use this to play 3ds games )

 

9. The third is Temp GBA . ( you can press A to play the GBA games you had already copied)

10. The fourth is SFC icon ( ( you can press A to play the GBA games you had already copied)

But how to use Dstwo plus to play 3ds on V4.1-V9.2 ??

1.Choose the  GW simulation icon and Press A to enter into , you will see below :

 2.Press A To continue ,select the 3ds console you have .

 

 3. Select the version of your 3DS console, then press A to continue ( if you strock in the step just power off and do it again)

 

4.After it done ,Press A to Exit and power off ,and then turn on you console again.

5.Then select Setting>Other settings >Profile >Nintendo DS profile ( the same as Gateway process ) after that ,there will be black screen ,wait a while and if you see the empty  icon in the menu ,that you have been in Gateway Emunand system

 
6. Press Select button ,then you will see the 3ds game meau , then you can paly the 3ds as you want to play .

NOTE: We are working on supporting cheats for CIA based games, and it is coming soon.
We also rewrote our filesystem driver from scratch in order to support our surprise feature, and in doing so we
have introduced some minor inconveniences such as added checks for ExFAT cluster sizes.
These are now removed as some users had cluster sizes as big as 32MB.

A. Use Gateway Blue card and red card to copy the games and enter into Emunand on the 3DS console .
B.Simply copy the folder “cheats” into the root of your microSD card that will go into the Gateway RED card.Each file inside the cheats folder will be of the format <TitleID>.txt where TitleID is the title id of the game.
C. Boot into Gateway mode, and press SELECT to make the Gateway game selection menu appear.(Here for example )

D. Select your game and then press Y to enter cheat mode.

E. Enable the cheats you want and then press START to load the game.
