how to use R4i save dongle to backup 3ds/ndsi/nds original game card's save files ?

Parparation:
R4i Save Dongle
3ds/DSI/DS original game card 

Step 1 : Download the Drivers.rar Unzip the files and will see below two files , running the 「vcredist_x86.exe」and 「dotNetFx40_Full_x86_x64.exe」

Step 2 : Insert the Save Dongle to the PC usb slot , and running 「SaveDongle Firmware Uploader.exe」

Step 3: After that you will see below photos ,according to the guide , Long keep press the R4i Save Dongle upgrade key .

Step 4 :

If you see 「OPEN BIN FILE」 , Select 「SaveDongle_v1.0.bin」then choose 「PROGRAM」,Then began upgrade . after it upgrade complete , put off the R4i Save Dongle .


Back Process :
1. Running the 【R4i SaveDongle V1.5.exe】

 
 
2. Put the 3DS/DSI/DS original game card into the R4i Save Dongle ,then connect with PC . When it recoginzed the game , Then you can transfer Card save files to PC . ,Then you can also copy the save files from PC to the origianl card .

3.Then you can also copy the save files from PC to the origianl card . Then it is all complete.

Hello, everyone , Since Public Beta 4.0 release a couple weeks ago , and it indeed bring many function to game lovers, Today, Gateway 3ds team release another minor update which much more stability and reliability for the new GATEWAY FASTBOOT feature.

So What is the New function for the Public Beta ?
– Fixed >9.2 down to 9.2 GATEWAY TIME MACHINE issue for N3DS
– Fixed WiFi issue for GATEWAY TIME MACHINE on O3DS
– Fixed auto rename of Nintendo 3DS folder when downgrading to 2.x for N3DS
– Repacked N3DS & O3DS US GATEWAY TIME MACHINE data pack
– Amended N3DS install procedure to cater to >9.2 system versions
+ Menu lockout implemented

The new Menu Lockout feature requires some further explanation: You’re all used to being able to get into the GATEWAY menu by holding down the [L] button during boot (or booting without a GATEWAY 3DS cart inserted).

As you know, any system installed with GATEWAY FASTBOOT ( A9LH ) , you need to holding down L+select to enter into the GATEWAY menu. This is to prevent the younger users of our system from accidentically triggering unintended actions from the GATEWAY menu. (Think of format emunand and such)

People who *dont* use GATEWAY FASTBOOT can still enter the menu by holding down [L], of course.

There was a minor error in the TIME MACHINE pack for the USA region which has been corrected, so please re-grab this pack if it affects your console’s region and you are planning on installing GATEWAY FASTBOOT. (This does not effect previous users who have already used the old data packs)
