3DS Tutorial! Playing region locked games on SKY3DS!

Hi there! I'm sure you've all heard of the SKY3DS, a flashcart that allows the playing of 3DS Roms! Before I go any further, I should say I do not condone to piracy, and you would not be able to play region locked games otherwise. Back to the topic, I would like to show you how you can play region locked games using SKY3DS, including any clones of it! This makes use of the regionthree 3DS exploit, in combination with the webkit exploit.

REQUIREMENTS:
A SKY3DS Flashcart, hat is still capable of holding games.
A PC
A MICRO SD/SDHC CARD
A working internet connection, on your PC and 3DS
A method to transfer files to and from the SD Card and the flash cart.


First of all , you'll have to have a SKY3DS,

You'll also need to be on a supported firmware (V9.9-26. ). Next, you'll need to have the roms you wish to play. Follow the procedure using the SKY3DS PC software to move the rom onto the flashcart. It can be any region, and *may also play in the language of your region, no extra effort needed! After that, you will have to download the regionthree files, and place them on the root of your SD card. Once you have that all done, Stick it into your 3DS and turn it on!

Once your 3DS is turned on, make sure the region locked game you wish to play is selected. Open up the Download & Play application, then immediately go back to the home screen. After that, without closing the Download & Play application, open up the browser. Go to this URL: http://go.gateway-3ds.com/ This is the gateway exploit page, but we are using it to load up some exploit files that will skip region checking altogether and load your game!

Finally, after you run the exploit in your browser, the exploit should trigger and your game will begin to load! It *may even load in your system language. I used PuyoPuyo Tetris for example, and despite being a japanese game, it loaded with the menus in english! I also used a rom for the japanese release of Pokemon X, and it played just fine, with a few things (Menus, items, and places) in english! Attention：
If your new 3ds console has scanned before, you have to clear all old saving by pressing  both L+R+X+Y these 4 buttons,after that , doing the below process !!

1. Download the Sky3ds diskwriter v2.02b1 and the latest template, write the Cubic Ninja and game you want to play region free into sd card of sky3ds.Insert sky3ds to your console.

2. Turn on your 3DS Wifi, Run Cubic Ninja ,choose " Edit ”, then “QR code”, and finally “Scan QR code ( In the begining ,i have told you how to get the QR code )

3. Scan the QR Code. This step might take a couple tries; make sure you fill up as much of your 3DS' screen with the QR code. If scanning the QR code returns to menu with an error, try a few more times.

4.After the install finished ,press A to continue

5.When regionFOUR is ready, press the blue button to switch games, wait a while ，press”start” and enjoy the region free games.

OPTIONAL – once the regionFOUR is installed , just go back to the “QR code” menu and it’ll run automatically and don't need scan the code again.

Tutorial : Sky3ds region free and install Cia game with Pasta CFW

How does Sky3ds work with NTR CFW to support region free 3ds games? Preparation

• One E/U/J New 3DS Version 8.1.0/9.0.0/9.1.0/9.2.0 console.
• Sky3ds with JP version Cubic Ninja rom.
• NTR CFW 2.2

Notice:If you have installed the old version NTR ,You need to delete the save data and reinstall, or if you have installed other exploits already, hold L+R+X+Y at game’s main menu to erase the savedata.

2. Copy ntr.bin to your N3DS’s microsd card.
3. Insert Sky3ds card to NEW 3DS slot. Start Cubic Ninja, Click Edit->QR Code and scan the QR file. (JAPAN.png for JP consoles, and EUROPE_USA.png for other consoles)
4. Press A to install the BootNTR.
5. Turn off your console.
6. Turn on you console, wait a few seconds before starting Cubic Ninja.
7. Click Edit->QR Code, after booted up successfully, the screen will flashes blue and rerturn to Home Menu.
8. If it was failed, turn off the N3DS and try again.

How does Sky3ds work with Pasta CFW to install .cia games?

Requirement:

• Sky3ds flashcard
• Pasta CFW
• Console : N3DS 9.0-9.2 and O3DS 4.1-4.5 / 8.0-8.1 / 9.0-9.2

2. extract them into the root of SD card, include the CIA of DEVMENU and other games






3. runing the Cubic Ninja, then scan the QR code on the Ninjahax official website to enter the custome firmware

4. press “A” to run “Brahma”(Pasta CFW), choose to load arm9payload.bin，then press A to run arm9payload.bin, select the right version and press A to confirm, then back to the system interface

5. run the Cubic Ninja again to get into the custome firmware, select the FBI, press A to running, and install the CIA of DEVMENU, click Start to get back to CFW after this finished

6. press “Start” back to the system interface

7. now the DEVMENU gift will appear on your console, people can use this tool to install other game cias.
