Recently , Freakyhax is released ,and we tested my sky3ds+ ( only $72.5/pcs from there )with 3ds games Freakyforms Deluxe ,it can use Freakyhax to enter into the homebrew on latest V11.0.0-33 !

What is Freakyhax ?

Freakyhax is a QR-code homebrew exploit for the 3DS game Freakyforms Deluxe.

 

Requirements

· A EUR/USA copy of the game (either eShop or cartridge)

· Recent 3DS firmware, including latest (11.0.0-33) as of this writing

Install

1. Get the latest version of freakyhax, and extract it to the root of your sdcard.

2. Get the "otherapp payload" for your 3DS firmware from the homebrew launcher website.

3. Put the otherapp bin on your sdcard root and rename it to "otherapp.bin".

5. Get the homebrew starter kit from the homebrew launcher website and put it on your sd card.

4. Start the game.

FAQ

How do I trigger the exploit?

In the game menu pick:
Play → Camera → Load a QR code → pick the image.

It doesn't work!

Try the troubleshooting guide. If that doesn't work, try the IRC channel #3dsdev on EFNet.

Why isn't the Japanese version supported?

It will be supported eventually.

Troubleshooting

· Make sure you have freaky.bin and the DCIM directory in your sdcard root.

· Make sure you have a otherapp.bin in your sdcard root.

· Make sure the otherapp.bin matches your firmware version, region and console type (new/old).

· If none of the above helps, try resetting the save file.

· If it still doesn't work, come see us in #3dsdev at EFNet.

Resetting save

1. Clear your save by holding A+B+X+Y when the game starts.

2. Set your planet name to "a".

3. With minimal effort create 5 formees with name "a", favourite phrase "a" (you have to go through the tutorial, unfortunately).

4. Remove all 5 formees.

5. Leave game and enter 3DS Settings. Move date one day forward.

6. Start the game again.

7. Create a formee with name "a" and favourite phrase "a".

8. Restart the game.

9. Trigger the exploit.

Tutorial :how to add your game header to the sky3ds template.txt files ?

Sometimes the sky3ds official not updated the template files, but you also want
to play the 3ds games , how to make it succesful for you add 3ds games to the 
template. txt by youself ? Now let is have a look at the guide . 

Preparation:
1. Download the template tools .
2. Build the game header (click for guide)

Step 1 : Unzip the template tools files and you will see the below photo .

Step 2 : Change the game header you made ( "_temp" files ) to (.3ds files)

See above _temp files change to below 3ds files:

Step 3 : Running the "Parse.bat"files and you will get the "parsed.txt" files 

Step 4 : Open the "parsed.txt" files ,you will see the game header you made ( how many you made , and you will get the same quantities)

Step 5 : Then you  copy of the above file header to the of "template.txt" file.then you use this with sky3ds blue button to play the 3ds games that the official not realesed !!

How to build a game header information file for sky3ds blue button ?

Sky3ds blue button is a hot 3ds flashcart since 2015 , but Nintendo released their new publicing games with Ap checks makes sky3ds blue button cannot support the games . So this is why sky3ds plus comes out ,and without any limited the latest firmware V11.0.0-33 and support all the 3ds games even the Ap checks games !!

make the game header !!

How to build a game header file for sky3ds ?

Note: Make sure the 3dsgame rom you download is from original game pad dump ,not an Eshop game or others !

1.   A game support to write for sky3ds or not , depends on if it was included into the template file (game title header information). In order to speed up the process of more games to be supported, sharing you here how to tell if a game you can write or not.

2.  If the game cannot be supported to write, it will show you a warning like “The file xxxxxxxx have no resource data yet , Please update the template.txt”, this means the current template file had not included this game title’s  header information, sure you can wait for official update, but you’d  better make game title header template yourself to ask for updating , as it will make your games supported in time.
 

3.  Firstly, you should download a software “WinHex”to  install.

4.  Open WinHex tool, choose option“File”->”Open”to  load the game rom.

  

5.  The content of game rom is hexadecimal code, looks complex, but you just simply to remember a few of commands, then you can easily make the game temp file to submit to official.

Press key “ALT”+ “G”, input 1150 and click “OK”

 6. At this point , the cursor will go to the line 1150, as long as the back-end of line 1150 shows CTR-P, it means this game can be wrote normally, you can make the next step , otherwise , it means that the game will not support writing for Sky3DS any more.

7. Next , you need to press KEY“ALT”+ “G”again and fill 4010 (Hex: 4010; Decimal: 16400), click “OK”to go on.
 

8. This time, the cursor will skip to line 4010

9. Pressing together with KEY “SHIFT”+ “CTRL”+ “END”, the code after line 4010 will be selected.

 

10.Press  KEY“Delete”, there will be a warning to confirm if you need to delete, Click “Yes”.

 

11. If the size of deleted data over than 20MB , will show the message as below, just click “OK”to confirm. 

 

12. You should make sure the line number is 04000, if it’s ok, then means you have done successfully.

13. After confirmation, choose option “File”->”Save As…”
 

14. The saved file name should be marked with“_temp”at the end. 

15. Compress your temp files by “RAR”or “ZIP”format (※Mark with ”_temp”)

 

16. Send the "Zip " or "rar" compressed files to inquiry@sky3ds.com , the official team will process and add it into new updated template files later !!

Note:BlackFin is currently supported up to PS Vita Firmware 3.57. We are currently developing support for Firmware 3.60. Please do not update your console past 3.57 FW in the meantime.  


Step1: First run and Emulator Initialization

Unzip the balck software V1.0, click Drivers and Run CDM211216_Setup ,and following the instruction to install the FTDI drivers for the BlackFin Reader hardware.

Notice : The Blackfin dongle requires a driver which also includes in the black software files .Navigate to control panel of your PC - Device manager -select Blackfin dongle as below :

 

After this select Browse my computer for driver software: #Enter C:\Blackfin-1.0\Drives on the search bank

Click next, the drive for BlackFin Dongle will be installed automatically. After installed, open the BlackFin application and make sure that the BlackFin Reader tab appears in the window.

Insert a blank Micro SD card into your BlackFin Emulator, then insert it into any one of the seven card slots of the BlackFin Reader. Select BlackFin Emulator and click Card Emulator>Format Card. Now the Micro SD card has been formatted.

Setting the server to use with the BlackFin Software
You can set your BlackFin Software to connect to localhost (your own computer) which means that only original games connected to your PC and BlackFin Reader can be played, a public server will allow you to play any of the games available on the server.
# For localhost (your own computer), open C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\BlackFin\settings.conf and set: server-hostname=localhost. If you set the server-hostname to localhost, then you need to run the BlackFin Server(BlackFinServer.exe) whenever you wish to use the BlackFin Application.

Authenticating your game cards
1.First, select the card to authenticate

2. At this point, the BlackFin Emulator must not be inserted in the Reader or in
Playstation Vita, or the Vita must be off
3. Then select Authenticate card from the reader’s menu
4. The Software will start scanning for the BlackFin Emulator

5.You can now turn the Vita on and/or insert the BlackFin Emulator in the Vita
6.Once the BlackFin Emulator is inserted in the Vita, it will be detected by the Software and authentication of the game card will begin #After it is finished, the game is recognized by the BlackFin Software

Dumping a Vita Game Card to disk
Only a authenticated game card can be dumped.
1. Select the game card.
2. Select the Dump to disk option and choose the directory and filename to save the ISO file to

3.The game content will be dumped to the ISO file.


Adding a game dump to the BlackFin Emulator MicroSD
Insert the formatted Micro SD card into your BlackFin Emulator, then insert it into any one of the seven card slots of the BlackFin Reader.
1. Select the BlackFin Emulator and select the Add Game button

2. Select ISO file you want to add to the Micro SD card

3. The game will be added to BlackFin Emulator MicroSD.

Launching a game through the BlackFin Emulator

1.Make sure formatted microSd card with ISO games inserted into the Blackfin emulator.
2.The Balckfin emulator must not be inserted in reader or in psv console ,or the vita must off.
3.Select the card emulator tab
4.Press the Bluetooth connect button
5.you can now turn the vita on and insert the balck fin emulator in the vita
6.the sofeware wil dipaly the list of the games available on the emulator

7. you can play games in green; the games in red are not available on the server ,so it cannot play . select the green color games you want to play and to launch.
